Government News Article Says Aid To Israel Will Be Paid In Euros |

In a recent government news article, Secretary of State Condaleeza Rice acknowledged communication from Israeli
foreign minister, Tzipi Levni, which requests that all foreign aid
payments and loans from the United States be made in Euros rather than
in Dollars.
As other US Government news sources bemoan the falling of the dollar on the Forex markets due to the recent decrease in the Prime Rate, it appears that Israel is taking much stronger action that could be a bellwether for more trouble ahead for the dollar.
Already there is talk in many government news articles about another Prime Rate decrease that could further destabilize the currency that has been the Reserve currency of choice for the currency markets of the world. The dollar is already at it's lowest rate ever against the Euro.
Through my financial news subscription services I get much speculation as to what this may foretell for the US Economy. The efforts to keep the mortgage industry from going under has caused a full scale International exodus from the dollar as the currency of choice. Houston, we have a problem.
