A real interesting thing came out last week. David Frost interviewed Benazir Bhutto back in early November about her return to Pakistan for Al Jazeera TV. She said, ". . . he also had dealings with Omar Sheikh, the man who murdered Osama bin Laden." Say what? Watch this.

She's too bright to be making a mistake, or not catching herself if she did. And she said this very matter-of-factly, as if everyone knows this. What's even more interesting is David Frost, a hardened interviewer, never picked up on it. He never said, "Excuse me. What did you say? Did you say Osama bin Laden has been murdered?" He just let it go. And, for frosting on the cake, the BBC also ran this interview and that phrase is completely cut out. Could Osama bin Laden be dead? Could this be why the CIA closed down its Osama bin Laden Unit?

Who is Omar Sheikh? He's the guy who's been convicted of killing the reporter Daniel Pearl. He was arrested February 12, 2002, so if he killed bin Laden, he did it sometime before then. Don't forget that on September 17, 2001, right after the 9/11 attacks, bin Laden denied he had anything to do with it. Then, on December 14th, a bin Laden video surfaced where he admits he knew about the attacks and implies he was behind the attacks. Ray Suarez, reporting for The News Hour with Jim Lehrer, said that this tape "bore a label indicating it was made on November 9th." And German TV channel "Das Erste" broadcast its analysis of the White House's translation of the tape and said that 2 "independent translators and an expert on oriental studies found the White House's translation not only to be inaccurate, but 'manipulative.'" The authenticity of every tape that has come out since then has been disputed.

So, did he admit to 9/11 or didn't he? Is he still alive or not? And, if he is dead and the U.S. and Britain have been using bin Laden as their scapegoat, could this have had anything to do with Bhutto's assassination? So many questions; so little time.
